buy or rack a bottle of shoe polish (i use kiwi or shine rite). take off the cap. open the bottle by twisting or pulling off the nib portion. pour out the contents in a sink/toilet/sewer, then wash the inside of the bottle out with water. wash it out til the water is clear and make sure no water is left in it. then take out the adjust valve which is located under the nib. fill the bottle up with any ink or thinned out paint (use oil paint). put the nib and cap back on. voila. have fun
